Bio: I love to create, and experiment with mixed media through my work. I consider myself to be self taught with Photoshop and photography. I started my second year at Sheffield Hallam University this year, studying Graphic Design - BA(Hons). I always set myself new tasks to try and design illustrations what’s not university related, generally because I enjoy it. This process also improves my learning skills. <div class="\&quot;text" block="">Depression - pondering by the lake </div> I created this image using a digitalm SLR. The photograph is my grungy looking sink in my student flat. nice <div class="text block pppt">Paper boats sailing, with pebbles disturbing the surface of the puddle. </div> This is a concept I had using a variety of media, I produced as an experiment. I wanted the character to look depressed as he is waiting for is date to arrive, who as stud him up. I wanted a dark gloomy grungy feel to the illustration. I also wanted the window to signify warmth inside and the cold on the street where he waits. This is the front cover for a publication - Reds New Red Jacket. This is a tale of a young fox who visits his grandma in his new red jacket. On his adventure to his grandmas house, he was secretly followed by a girl, who is fascinated with the jacket. She will stop at nothing to snatch the jacket for her self. The concept came from the old folk tale, Lille Red Riding Hood. I twisted the story and characters round using a similar technique of my previous publications on Deviantart. I wanted the fox to represent a young boy, and the girl showing unkindness with her behaviour towards him, and his family being disrespectful. I using alpha channels to create and paint&nbsp;this image. I chose the blue as her heart is cold, red for the blood she as drained and white for the innocence she looks. I was really impressed with the design and the end result. </p> </font> This concept came from travelling to work. I was waiting for my train to arrive, but I was early and watched a different train pull into the platform. As I looked with boredom, I noticed underneath the carriage was two little pigeon feet dangling in the wind. It was sick, but made me laugh, as it was catching a free ride. I am sorry to say the pigeon was dead as a dodo, but I found it a good source of inspiration. The pigeon has had a long hard day at work, he is resting with some beverages on his journey home as he feels burned out. <font size="\"><font size="2"> <p>I used SXC images and paint brushes from Deviant art to create this image inspired by vault 49. It looks nothing like their work, but happy with the out come. one day my dream will lead me working with this company.</p> <p>&lsquo; well I can dream can I not lol&rsquo;. </p> </font></font> One of the series of antiwar posters Pink flamingo I created this image for a friends mobile, wallpaper. I used a digital SLR and Photoshop. Book cover idea. This is the front cover of the publication. Its a short illustrated tale of a young boy who is distraught from the torment of mixed emotions. Emotions prove too much for the young boy to cope with as he feels his time as come to an end. The young boy shares his feelings as he confides his depression with a girl, who tragically feels the same way. The woman is holding her daughters shoulder as if to hold her back. The mother has a drug problem which her daughter witnesses on a regular basis.</div> <div>I wanted the mother to look like she is saying &lsquo;sorry&rsquo; to her daughter for what she has put her through. I wanted to capture the mothers facial expressions looking sad and depressed. The little girl hides behind her long hair, isolating<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>herself from her mother. The only face in the image with a smile is the teddy bear which is a object of comfort for her daughter to hold onto.</div> <div style="MIN-HEIGHT: 14px"><br /></div> <div>I created the whole image using Photoshop and SXC stock images.
