Samarium Dragon

by Mike Corriero

An elemental dragon based on element number 62 (Samarium) a rare earth metal with a bright silvery luster. Samarium is used for many things you might not expect. His body is meant to look asymmetrical and somewhat abstract, jutting out with sharp angles at various points to create his form.

The artwork is impeccable and the creature is nothing short of original in design. If I had any crit it would be that the pose looks kinda hinky, like a dud in a Godzilla constume, it looks awkward. But other than that this is a stunning piece.
